The Rest of the 14 Days of Valentine's

For those of you that were counting down to Valentine's Day and noticed that my fourteen days only added up to five, be not afraid! I just realized how much room I was taking up with making a post every single day, so I decided to keep track of all of the little gifts or notes I gave to Jason up to Valentine's Day and can now let you see them in one easy post. How about we just catch up right now:

On the 6th day of Valentine's, my true love gave to me:

A photo session with some roses for me.

Okay, so this isn't really a present for Jason, but Jason was incredibly sweet and patient enough to go out and take some quick pictures with me for Valentine's Day. I think they turned out great!

On the seventh day of Valentine's, my true love gave to me:
A book about us that I can eat and read.
This book is perfect for guys because it serves two purposes: 1-it is a book that tells him about us and all the great things I can remember, such as the first thing I noticed about Jason or when I knew that I was in love with him, etc. These are things that guys can use some reminders every now and then. 2- The front and back cover are large candybars, so as a reward for reading the book, Jason got to enjoy his chocolate!

On the eighth day of Valentine's, my true love gave to me:
Some fortune cookies made just for me.
I love fortune cookies but decided I wanted Jason to get some personalized fortune cookies. I found some cute love quotes or some funny things we say and Jason had a blast reading them and eating them. One of our favorite quotes was "Love is Temporary Insanity," and then Jason said that must be why we are crazy!

On the ninth day of Valentine's, my true love gave to me:
A love message in every language. Okay maybe not every language, but I wrote out "I love you" in some of the most popular languages and taped them to our door one morning before Jason got up. He did a really good job at guessing most of the countries. I thought this day was so us because we are addicted to traveling and like to say that we have kissed in 4 different countries!

On the tenth day of Valentine's, my true love gave to me:
A batch of homemade sugar cookies.
This is a family tradition where we make the most delicious sugar cookies and then add pink icing on top for Valentine's Day. We had a blast doing this with my parents and my two cute nephews, Drew and Matt. Of course, the boys kept wanting to do dinosaur cookies, because supposedly those taste better.

On the eleventh day of Valentine's, my true love gave to me:
A pillow full of candies and treats.
I was inspired by all of my cute preschoolers that were handing out treats to each other, so I came home and put little treats and notes in these heart containers and left them on Jason's pillow for him to find that evening.

On the twelth day of Valentine's, my true love gave to me:
Coupons for many lovely things.
Jason and I have a long history of giving coupons to each other, so I wanted to repeat history this time.

On the thriteenth day of Valentine's, my true love gave to me:
A pie that is willing to die for.
I made Jason a chocolate pie, but this wasn't any ordinary chocolate pie! This pie had a layer of haupia in it, which is basically coconut pudding. Jason used to get a pie just like this over in Hawaii and he almost jumped out of his seat in surprise that I slipped that sweet layer of goodness in there.

On the fourteenth of Valentine's, my true love gave to me:
VALENTINE'S DAY!!
I didn't really plan anything beyond the usuall Valentine's Day exchange. Jason was so sweet and got me flowers and jewelry and I was the boring wife and bought him clothes and more clothes. He is so great at picking out gifts, even though he might say that he doesn't have a clue what to get.
