Favorite Picture Friday!

Instead of just posting one picture for Favorite Picture Friday, I have to post several from last weekend. Michelle and Trevor were coming down, but then Shelli called me and asked us to come baby sit. Thinking nothing of it, all four of us headed over to Shells and Kurts house. SURPRISE!! Michelle and I were surprised with a "Happy Graduation Party," put on by our dear husbands and my family. It was such a treat to have a BBQ and just goof off that day. Of course, it wouldn't be complete without a pinata! I like the picture of Michelle taking out her frustration on the innocent pinata. The boys, Drew and Matt, did a great job taking down the pinata! It was such a sweet surprise and so thoughtful that I am so grateful for my friends and family.

One Year Anniversary!!

If you are reading this you might be confused because you know that Jason and I have been married for almost 4 years, not 1 year. We are celebrating our blog's 1 year anniversary. It's funny to think a year ago we were getting ready to leave to Europe and decided to start a blog as an easy way to talk to my family while we were gone. Now when we don't have time to write in our journals, we have the blog to record what happens in our lives. So, in honor of our 1 year bloggiversary (blog anniversary), here is a collage of some of our pictures from our first trip to Europe!

Also, we are excited to announce that we are going on a cruise at the end of May! Jason planned this wonderful trip in honor of multiple celebrations, such as graduations and our wedding anniversary. We will post more details as they come!!

Graduated!!

I (Jason) get a chance to brag about Lisa. Lisa didn't really want to put up a bunch of pictures, but I feel that she has earned the attention for her accomplishments. I know how hard it has been to do work and school at the same time, but she has been able to do it all. I am so proud of her and all that she has accomplished. Here are a few pictures celebrating her and her Master's Degree in Speech Pathology.

It never fails. Snow in Logan on Graduation day! This happened to both of us when we got our Bachelor's Degrees.

This last picture is of a really cool idea that Lisa had as a present for me. Many people wore a stole during graduation. A stole is where you write down a message and give the stole to someone that means a lot to you after the graduation ceremony. Well, Lisa thought that a stole would be a one time limited use sort of item, so she made me a tie! Now, whenever I where the tie, I can remember her and all the wonderful things she and I have been through together.

Favorite Picture Thursday????

Favorite Picture Thursday just doesn't have the same ring as Favorite Picture Friday does. The reason why we are posting this picture early is because tomorrow (Friday) Lisa will be up in Logan walking across the stage because she has earned her Master's Degree! Obviously with that going on we won't have time to post anything on Friday, so this will have to do. After graduation is all done we promise to post a million pictures of the events that day. Those probably won't be posted until Saturday. Hope everyone has a great weekend and keep an eye out for some Grad pictures!

This picture was taken out at one of our favorite spots near St. George, Gunlock. The reservoir has been drained, and because of that there was all of this cool driftwood and rocks that were left bleached white. We thought it would be a fun idea to go take some pictures out there. We knew we had to do it fast, because the reservoir is filling up fast and will soon be up to the spillway. We enjoy going and seeing all of the beautiful outdoor places in St. George.
