We thought we would post some more pictures of the boys visiting us down here in California. These pictures are actually from 2 different trips. We never posted the rest of the pictures from the time the boys visited us in March, and then we were so lucky to have the boys, Shelli, and my parents come down just a couple of weeks ago. Poor Kurt had to stay home that last time and work back in St. George, but we were able to Skype with him so he could see all of the fun we were having!
The way to tell the difference between the two trips is to look at the boys hair... the shorter, the more recent the pictures.
These are some pictures from the older trip when we took the boys to Chuck E. Cheese! I wonder if the boys enjoyed the pizza, the play place, or the video games? Hmm, I think that is a "Yes!" They had all 4 adults running around like crazy and we were all plenty hungry when the pizza came. Ben enjoyed being there too, since there were so many new lights and sounds for him to be around.

Another place we went on that older trip was to the Kids Science Museum. This was extra special because they always have new themes or special attractions at the museum, but at the time the boys came down it was "Star Wars" themed. How perfect because the boys love Star Wars... and when I say boys I mean Kurt and Jason. Here are some pictures from there:

One of my favorite things at the museum was this huge pinwall, similar to the smaller hand versions everyone had as kids. I think we spent 30 minutes just goofing off at this attraction.

| There was a part of the museum on ice and hockey, so Drewbie got to dress up in some goalie gear and then block some hockey pucks. He did an awesome job. |

| At the weather part of the museum there was a wind tunnel where you could stand inside this tube thing and the wind would get up to 80mph. Talk about an easy way to cool off! |
Now we are to the pictures from the most recent trip. Of course we had to take the boys back to the beach. Last time the water was still that California cold water and the boys had more fun running away from it than playing in it. This time either the water was warmer or the boys were braver because we couldn't pull them out of the water. Drewbie was fascinated with the waves and kept wanting to go out further and further in the water. He even tried body surfing with Jason. I think he did pretty good. Matters stayed in the shallow part of the water and was pretty funny about the whole thing. He kept going to the beach and filled up buckets of sand and then would take them to the water and empty them. I guess he was trying to return the sand to the ocean? If you came near him he would fill up the bucket with water and splash you really good. Eventually he and Jason got their squirt guns, which of course meant that Aunt Lisa was the target! I love those pictures where I am getting shot point blank and you see the evil smiles on Jason and Matt's faces.

We thought we would hide a special prize for the boys, so we distracted them for a few minutes and buried a treasure box in the sand by our towels. Once we were all ready for some sun time and wanted to dry off, we told the boys that we sat at this spot on the beach because there is supposed to be a treasure box nearby. Drewbie immediately started digging but insisted that the treasure was in this other spot that I kept strongly hinting him towards. Matt was cute and would dig a little and then move on, desperately looking for the treasure. Finally they found the treasure and they were so excited to actually find something in the sand. When they opened it they found some of my jewelry to look like treasure and then we put some fruit snacks in it as a reward for their hard work. I thought the boys would enjoy the fruit snacks more, but they were just fascinated with finding my jewelry and kept trying to think of what to do with it. Should they sell it or give it away? Finally I convinced the boys that we would keep their treasure down here in California. Afterwards, Matters kept insisting that there must be more treasure at our beach and that we should keep digging.

These last pictures probably look really weird, and that is because they are. We had colored sugar cookie dough and told the boys that this is special playdough that you can eat. Sorry, Shelli, if the boys start eating real playdough. We let each of the boys make things and then Jason and I would try to help make things that they asked us to do. Can you guess what they are? I don't blame you if you can't because we easily found that cookie creations are hard to make look nice.

The funny story about Matt's bear above is that he ate it the night we made them, but the next day he was so sad because he couldn't find his bear and he kept insisting that someone took him.

Overall, we love having people come down and visit and the boys are so much fun to have around.
