Favorite Picture Friday: June 8th, 2012 ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL

How long is 6 years? Maybe it's that long for a child to make it to 1st Grade. Maybe it's how long it would take you to earn a Master's Degree. What about the best marriage ever? I am so happy to wish Jason and myself a "Happy Anniversary" for 6 wonderful years of marriage! It seems that everyone says the common phrase, "it seems like yesterday" when they are referring to their marriage. I have never felt that way, because when we were married I always had the feeling that this is they way it should have always been. And even now, 6 years doesn't sound like nearly enough time for all of the memories and love we have for each other. Jason truly brings out the best in me and I hope I can do the same for him. I am so happy to be married to my best friend and to be able to be by his side. We came up with this quote that describes our relationship perfectly:

"I am finally becoming a morning person, because I get to wake up next to you!- Lisa to Jason"

I have never been much of a morning person and more of a night owl, but since being married to my sweetie I find myself waking up smiling because I know I get to be with my true love that day.

Here are some more recent beach pictures that we took on one of our Thursday evening picnics that we do every week. Jason is so cute and always picks me a flower when we are at the beach.

Favorite Picture Friday: June 1st, 2012

I can't believe it is already June! Where has the year gone? As I get closer and closer to the end of the school year I seem to get busier and busier. Jason has received his grades from last semester and he did extremely well. I'm proud of him getting through his first year of law school, which is supposed to be his most difficult year. I know that he will continue to be amazing!
I realized that I never posted the pictures from when we went to our local aquarium here in Orange County. I was so impressed with how well it was taken care of and the variety of sea life it had. Honestly, a part of me enjoyed it more than Sea World. I love how the pictures came out and how sharp the pictures are of the fish. Enjoy the collection of pictures from our day at the aquarium.

Favorite Picture Friday: May 25th, 2012

Here is a picture of our nephew, Ben, down here in California. We took the boys to a nearby park and wanted to let Ben try out the swings. This is him giving us the look that tells us that he is unsure with what we are doing to him. It's pretty great!

Favorite Picture Friday: May 11th, 2012

I just realized that we never posted pictures when the Barnum bunch came down right at the beginning of Spring Break clear back in March. This was the first time we took the cute boys to the ocean. It was hilarious to watch the boys interact with the water, because unlike our pool at our apartment, the ocean fights back! The boys just loved running to and from the waves and screaming for their lives. Quite often they would chase the waves as they receded, but a few times the waves were too fast for the boys and they would get drenched or knocked over! It was a lovely, sunny day but the water was still a bit cold from the winter so it would make the boys run even faster as they felt the chill close behind them. They were so much fun to have around to play with.

I also had to steal on of Shelli's photo's of Baby Ben! He was such a good sport with all of the activities we did with the bigger boys. We didn't take him in the ocean or swimming in the pool, but he was just so pleasant and happy to be watching and hanging out with everyone.
